About the role
As a Technician in the Truck Division, you will service and repair heavy commercial vehicles both in the workshop and on‑site, ensuring vehicle uptime for customers who rely on 24/7 support. You will be expected to diagnose issues accurately and resolve them the first time, while also responding to emergency breakdowns.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine checks to guarantee trouble‑free operation.
- Replace wear components such as brake pads, air bellows, belts and pulleys.
- Identify potential problems early while working on jobs in the workshop and on site.
- Follow best‑practice and service‑manual procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Explain completed work clearly to the Foreman and Service Advisor and support round‑the‑clock emergency breakdown response.
Required profile
- 4–5 years of hands‑on experience with heavy commercial vehicles.
- Trade certificate or diploma in mechanical/automotive engineering, or a completed apprenticeship.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage; Arabic language is a plus.
- Willingness to support emergency and out‑of‑hours breakdowns.
Required skills
- Ability to independently service, repair and overhaul vehicle components.
- Proficiency in reading and applying technical instructions from workshop manuals.
- Good communication skills in English.
