Airport Supervisor – AMM

About the role

The Airport Supervisor supports the Airport Manager in overseeing daily airport operations, ensuring safety, security, on‑time performance and efficient workflow in line with Air Arabia policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Airport Manager in monitoring operational and security functions and ensure smooth daily activities.
• Supervise briefings, ramp, check‑in, safety and security procedures, reporting deviations and delays.
• Liaise with Flight Operations and MCC to handle AOG, emergencies, technical delays and service recovery.
• Report incidents/accidents to the Airport Manager and Head Office using approved formats.
• Monitor GHAs, GSAs and service level agreements, analyse performance data and recommend improvements.
• Oversee baggage handling, lost luggage tracing and customer complaint investigations.
• Support QA, Safety and Security audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage revenue‑generating services such as excess baggage, wheelchair and seat sales.
• Deputise for the Airport Manager in their absence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management/Administration or equivalent, or a diploma with relevant experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in airlines/aviation ground handling, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, civil aviation authority rules and ground handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to handle emergencies and make decisions.
