UAV Pilot

About the role

Edge is seeking a qualified UAS Pilot to join its Abu Dhabi team. The pilot will operate unmanned aerial systems under the command of the PIC, supporting both internal and external flight operations, including national and international deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out non‑operational ground and flight activities such as fleet serviceability checks, equipment testing and simulator sessions.
• Execute operational flight missions in line with ADASI commitments, including static and flight demonstrations.
• Maintain UAS operational currency and generate equipment status reports for risk mitigation and standardisation.
• Participate in development and type‑enhancement activities for UAS platforms.

Required profile

• Appropriate UAS category, class and type rating in accordance with the Pilot Currency Flight Syllabus.
• Valid civilian or military manned/unmanned aviation flight crew licence (fixed or rotary wing) and Radio Communication licence.
• Completion of higher technical college or UAE Air Force Air College and UAS type training.
• Minimum 24 months of system time as a junior pilot on the specified UAS category.
