Underwriting Account Senior Representative

About the role

The Underwriting Account Senior Representative will support the underwriting team in managing renewals and new business for Individual and SME markets across the Middle East and Africa. This Band 2 professional role offers the chance to develop expertise in policy setup, benefits analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with renewals for Individual and SME business in the Middle East and Africa.
• Set up individual policies and manage the underwriting team mailbox.
• Prepare tables of benefits for renewals and new corporate business.
• Conduct legal checks on new quote censuses.
• Generate and format reports from internal systems.
• Liaise with the sales team to manage quote turnaround time expectations.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities to improve processes and procedures.
• Support underwriters with additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Experience in underwriting, insurance, or related financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow internal guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with sales and underwriting teams.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
