Urban Planner

About the role

The Urban Planner will work under the guidance of senior planners to support master‑planning, urban development and governance projects across KEO’s markets. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create conceptual and detailed designs that meet regulatory standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing conceptual, preliminary and detailed urban designs, site layouts and supporting documentation such as reports, maps and drawings.
• Help develop development control regulations, urban design guidelines and other planning standards.
• Produce urban designs that comply with existing regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines involved in master‑planning and urban development projects.
• Support the preparation and presentation of plans and reports to clients and regulators.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in urban planning or design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Eligibility for membership in a professional urban planning or design association.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
