Vascular Surgeon

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is looking for an experienced Vascular Surgeon to diagnose and treat diseases of the vascular system, including arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in vascular surgical procedures, endovascular interventions and the management of complex vascular conditions. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage arterial, venous and lymphatic vascular disorders
• Perform open vascular surgeries and endovascular procedures
• Manage conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis and vascular trauma
• Carry out preoperative assessments and plan surgical treatments
• Perform vascular interventions such as angioplasty and stenting, and other minimally invasive procedures where qualified
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, intensivists and other specialists
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care

Required profile

• MBBS or an equivalent internationally recognized primary medical qualification
• Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in Vascular Surgery
• Significant post-specialization clinical experience in vascular surgery
• Experience in both open vascular surgery and endovascular procedures
• Additional fellowship or advanced specialist training in vascular and endovascular surgery is an advantage
