Vendor Manager – Apparel (1‑year project)

About the role

Amazon GCC is seeking a proactive Vendor Manager to join its Fashion business in Dubai on a one‑year project. You will own the strategy for key apparel vendors across the MENA region, driving category growth and enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that deliver profitable growth and best‑in‑class customer experiences.
• Analyse supply‑demand trends, market insights and sales data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers and brands, negotiate agreements and launch new products.
• Own P&L management, conduct financial analysis and make data‑driven recommendations.
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns in collaboration with vendors and merchandising teams.
• Manage end‑to‑end inventory health, partnering with operations to balance stock levels and mitigate overstock or stock‑out situations.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to improve sourcing efficiency and supply‑chain performance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical horsepower and solid business judgment.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in fashion or apparel category management is a plus.
