Vice President Application Managed Services and Delivery

About the role

The Vice President of Application Managed Services and Delivery will own the run‑side of ALDAR’s application estate, ensuring enterprise and business applications remain available, performant, and supported after go‑live across the Group and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application operations, covering availability, performance, incident and problem management.
• Direct outsourced IT Managed Services with clear scopes, service levels and performance metrics.
• Manage systems administration for enterprise applications in coordination with platform and security teams.
• Own the onboarding and handover model from delivery teams to operations, enforcing readiness criteria before go‑live.
• Run major incident management, provide transparent reporting and drive post‑incident reviews.
• Contribute to the service catalogue and charge‑back model.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and shift‑left initiatives to reduce incident volume.
• Oversee vendor contracts, performance, and commercial discipline, ensuring capacity aligns with demand.
• Build and lead the internal application services team while supporting Emiratization goals.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive experience in application operations and managed services.
• Proven leadership in directing outsourced service providers and managing large‑scale application environments.
• Strong understanding of service level management, incident handling, and continuous improvement processes.
