Vice President Commercial Strategy & Planning

About the role

The Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Planning will shape ADNOC Group’s procurement and commercial agenda, aligning it with the company’s growth objectives and transformation roadmap. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Group Commercial Strategy & Excellence, this senior leader will drive strategic planning, budgeting, and value‑creation initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated procurement planning strategy that supports corporate commercial priorities.
• Lead enterprise‑wide budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for CAPEX and OPEX procurement programs.
• Champion commercial transformation projects, including automation, analytics, and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to strengthen governance, improve planning outcomes, and maximise strategic procurement value.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience in commercial strategy, procurement, supply‑chain, planning or business management, with significant leadership responsibility.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain and procurement operations, including contracts, purchasing, inventory management, planning and performance management.
• Proven track record of leading complex planning, budgeting, transformation and stakeholder‑engagement initiatives in large, dynamic organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management or a related field; professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS) are a plus.
