Vice President Interior Design

About the role

The Vice President of Interior Design will ensure that all interior design solutions align with Aldar's development value proposition and project vision. This senior leadership position oversees the complete interior design lifecycle across multiple real‑estate projects, driving quality, cost efficiency, and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all interior design activities, managing each stage from concept to execution.
• Supervise interior design consultants, ensuring drawing submittals meet ALDAR specifications and approved designs.
• Select materials in collaboration with project teams and enforce adherence to standards.
• Monitor drawing reviews, track implementation against technical drawings, and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct site visits, identify design issues, and propose cost‑saving or time‑saving solutions.
• Liaise with Development & Portfolio Management to reflect design changes in forecasts.
• Support project teams in solving technical implementation challenges through coordination meetings and validated workarounds.
• Provide input to the ICP gateway and ensure design compliance across all phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in real‑estate interior design, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture; a technical postgraduate degree is preferred.
• Proven track record in large‑scale real‑estate developments, preferably within the GCC region.
• Strong analytical, communication, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams that include planning, design, project management, procurement, and commercial functions.
