Vice President - Risk

About the role

The Vice President – Risk will lead Aldar Properties’ enterprise risk, business continuity and crisis management programmes. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that risk frameworks align with the company’s strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement the enterprise risk management framework across all business units.
• Design, document and roll‑out the Business Continuity Management System and associated testing programmes.
• Lead the creation and execution of the Crises Management framework, including response plans and communication protocols.
• Conduct annual reviews of risk policies, communicate changes and ensure adoption throughout the organisation.
• Prepare quarterly strategic risk reports for senior management, monitoring mitigation actions and progress.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify, assess and mitigate emerging risks.
• Support ad‑hoc risk‑related projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise risk management, preferably within large real‑estate or related sectors.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role leading a corporate risk function.
• Proven ability to translate risk concepts into commercial benefits and actionable plans.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
