Visual Merchandiser – Retail (IKEA YAS)

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will ensure the store’s visual expression follows IKEA manuals, fully embodying the IKEA concept across the YAS location. This role combines strategic planning, cross‑functional collaboration and market‑specific research to create functional and inspirational displays that drive commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate execution of accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self‑serve, Swedish Food Market and Exit Café displays.
• Maintain brand integrity by adhering to IKEA manuals and producing functional home‑furnishing solutions throughout the store.
• Collaborate with interior designers to develop display solutions that are both inspirational and aligned with ongoing commercial activities.
• Liaise with Sales and In‑Store Logistics teams to implement projects and daily sales steering activities using IKEA display solutions.
• Research and adapt home‑furnishing solutions to the local market, enhancing the customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of visual merchandising experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of the IKEA concept and ability to translate manuals into practical store displays.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams such as sales, logistics and interior design.
