Waiter – Fine Dining at Bvlgari Resort Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a professional Waiter to join the food and beverage team at Bvlgari Resort Dubai, part of Marriott International. The role involves delivering high‑standard service to guests in a luxury dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
• Answer guest questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
• Record transactions in the MICROS POS system at the time of order.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and preparing the dining area for the next service.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide genuine appreciation.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a food‑and‑beverage or hospitality setting.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Capability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces, climb stairs or ramps, and reach overhead or below the knees.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Professional appearance, clear communication skills, and commitment to confidentiality and asset protection.
