About the role

The Camelia Lounge at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is seeking enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress team members to deliver high‑quality food and beverage service in a luxury setting. You will interact directly with guests, ensuring their orders are served promptly and accurately while upholding the lounge’s standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders and serve food and drinks efficiently, following bar and service procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, equipment, and the overall dining area in line with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage list, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
• Comply with company health, safety, fire, and disciplinary policies.
• Contribute to achieving monthly drink profit targets and overall revenue goals.

Required profile

• Warm, presentable personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen to guest needs, respond promptly, and work well under pressure.
• Accountable, resilient and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in fine‑dining or Japanese cuisine, is advantageous.

Required skills

• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards in a food‑service environment.
• Upselling techniques to increase average spend per guest.
