Waiter/Waitress – Azure Restaurant

About the role

Join the Azure Restaurant team at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah and be the face of hospitality for our guests. As a Waiter/Waitress you will deliver food and beverage service with warmth, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the captain or head waiter throughout service, staying readily available.
• Promote in‑house sales by being knowledgeable about all hotel F&B outlets, opening hours and current promotions.
• Prepare and maintain service stations: polish cutlery, fill sugar dispensers, mustard pots, oil & vinegar containers, and replenish linen.
• Clean and organise trolleys, pedestal tables and follow the daily cleaning plan.
• Provide high‑quality food and beverage service, adhering to Hilton policies and service standards.
• Support colleagues during peak periods and assist with waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Attend mandatory meetings and perform general cleaning tasks to meet health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service within a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials and promotional offers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Understanding of hygiene, safety and waste‑management practices.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining service stations and mise‑en‑place.
