Waitress – Italian Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive waitress to join our Italian restaurant in Dubai. The role involves serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer menu questions and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and process payments.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties.
• Present accurate checks, handle cash, and follow company safety policies.
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and uphold uniform standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related waitstaff experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unaided.
• Good communication skills and professional appearance.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
