Warehousing & Materials Team Leader

About the role

The Warehouse & Materials Team Leader oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and strict HSE compliance. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the role acts as the bridge between management and the floor team.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities to meet daily targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on‑the‑job coaching to handlers, pickers, and packers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and support cycle counts.
• Enforce HSE standards, including handling of hazardous, temperature‑sensitive, and fragile items.
• Coordinate use and maintenance of material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on throughput, inventory accuracy, safety incidents, and KPI performance.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Proven supervisory experience managing warehouse teams.
• Familiarity with WMS for inventory tracking and workflow management.
• Experience implementing operational procedures and safety compliance.
• Background in defense, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing is preferred.
