Water Quality Senior Engineer

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a senior professional to lead the Water Quality and Animal Life Support Systems (ALSS) team at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, efficient operation of all water‑treatment and life‑support equipment, directly protecting animal health, staff safety and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for ALSS equipment.
• Monitor daily performance of engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with training and competency standards.
• Oversee the operation, troubleshooting and optimisation of pumps, filtration units and automated control systems.
• Manage attendance, shift rotations (including nights and public holidays) and performance reviews for the ALSS team.
• Conduct inspections in confined spaces, lift loads up to 45 kg and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with other park departments to minimise downtime and support overall park operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in water‑quality engineering, ALSS or related mechanical/electrical roles.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in a high‑pace, safety‑critical environment.
• Physical capability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights and public holidays.
