Web Designer – UI/UX & Development

About the role

We are looking for a creative Web Designer to build and maintain the Authority’s website, ensuring it meets the needs of companies, brokers and investors. The role combines visual design, front‑end development and ongoing optimisation to deliver an intuitive, accessible online experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch the Authority’s website, incorporating branding and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and install web applications, ensuring ease of use for clients.
• Gather content from internal divisions and translate it into engaging web pages.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to display the Authority’s logo and comply with confidentiality rules.
• Test website performance through questionnaires and analytics, reporting findings to the Development & Programming Section Head.
• Create page layouts using HTML, XHTML and tools such as Dreamweaver.
• Work with Operations & Technical Support to maintain site infrastructure and resolve technical issues.
• Collect feedback from the public and foreign entities to improve site efficiency.
• Prepare periodic technical reports and undertake any additional tasks delegated by the Section Head.

Required profile

• Strong eye for design with the ability to translate business requirements into visual solutions.
• Excellent listening skills and capacity to work from a brief.
• Creative, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Professional approach to time, cost and project management.

Required skills

• HTML and XHTML coding.
• Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver or similar web‑design tools.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Microsoft Office suite.
