Welcomer – Guest Reception Specialist

About the role

Accor is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Welcomer to be the first point of contact for guests in its Dubai hotel. You will create a warm, personalized welcome experience and ensure smooth arrivals and departures in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests with professionalism and a genuine smile.
• Provide personalized check‑in and check‑out experiences.
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information.
• Offer welcome beverages or amenities based on guest status or preferences.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be readily available to guide guests.
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing promotions.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve issues or escalate appropriately.
• Record and communicate guest preferences and special requests.
• Uphold a polished, professional appearance in line with brand standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a front‑office or guest‑facing role at a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages a plus.
• Warm, outgoing, service‑oriented personality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software.
