Welding Inspector - Piping

About the role

EPIC Piping is seeking a qualified Welding Inspector to join its piping team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all welds meet the stringent quality and safety standards required in the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and non‑destructive testing (NDT) inspections of welds on piping systems.
• Review welding procedures, specifications, and related documentation.
• Document inspection results, report defects, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with welders and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas construction and source inspection.
• Engineering degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS‑CWI certification with at least 2 years post‑certification experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and ASME Section IX.
• Good command of English.
