Workfront Engineer

About the role

SAMSUNG E&A is seeking a Workfront Engineer to lead Advanced Work Packaging activities on EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role combines hands‑on construction experience with engineering supervision to develop and manage construction work packages (CWP) and ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage CWP plans based on CWA PoC priorities, considering resource allocation, scheduling and budgeting.
• Identify engineering, procurement and construction constraints and apply resolution processes.
• Manage target schedules for CWPs using schedule management tools.
• Utilize 3D modeling (UPV) and simulation tools (UG Navigator) to monitor CWP and CWA status.
• Use FMCS to identify and manage site hold points for IWP.
• Secure and manage actual workfronts throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any branch; IT, Computer Science or Data Mining preferred).
• Proven experience in construction supervision or engineering on EPC projects.
• Hands‑on construction skills with familiarity of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
