Senior Construction Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager with a proven track record in overseeing and coordinating all on‑site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards for a high‑profile client in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction and contractor deliverables across large‑scale projects, typically valued above USD 500 million.
• Supervise all on‑site disciplines, managing multiple field teams and ensuring compliance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Control project cost and schedule, coordinate supply chain, equipment delivery and subcontractor performance.
• Manage installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are communicated, monitored and enforced through toolbox meetings, inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering during design phases to optimise constructability.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of oil and gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> USD 500 million) with a focus on construction and site management.
• Experience within an oil and gas operating company is highly desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively for multi‑week periods and flexibility to adjust work location as project needs dictate.
• Qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
