A320 Captain – Instructor

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced A320 Captain to join its growing fleet as an Instructor. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will combine operational command with training responsibilities, helping shape the next generation of pilots while maintaining the airline’s high safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Command A320 flights safely from taxi‑out to engine shutdown.
• Lead and manage flight and cabin crew, ensuring effective crew resource management.
• Deliver high on‑time performance and adhere to fuel‑efficiency and sustainability policies.
• Conduct type‑rating and line evaluation training sessions for pilots.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to trainee pilots during simulator and line checks.

Required profile

• Current A320 Captain with a valid type rating.
• Minimum of 5,000 flight hours, including recent command experience.
• Strong decision‑making, leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and adapt to a multicultural environment.
