AC Technician – HVAC & Facilities

About the role

The AC Technician will join the engineering & facilities team at Le Méridien Fujairah, ensuring the hotel’s HVAC, air‑quality, and refrigeration systems operate efficiently and safely. This full‑time, onsite position supports guest comfort and energy‑management initiatives across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Analyze energy and utilities usage and calibrate controls, gauges, and meters.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report hazards and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and uphold guest service standards.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HVAC/refrigeration experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid EPA Universal Certification, HVAC certification, and driver’s license.

• HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Refrigeration and air‑quality control.
• Electrical systems installation and repair.
• Pipe assembly, valve and fitting maintenance.
• Pool and spa equipment upkeep.
• Energy monitoring and calibration of gauges/meters.
• EPA Universal Certification.
