Academic Advisor (Student Counselor)

About the role

A full-time Academic Advisor position is open, with 10 vacancies. The role guides prospective students through the admissions process, provides detailed information about universities and programs, and acts as a mentor throughout their academic journey. Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field receive preferential consideration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist students with admissions by explaining programs, entry requirements and application procedures.
• Help students make informed decisions so they can enroll successfully.
• Share information on universities, including course offerings, campus life and career opportunities.
• Serve as a mentor, giving continuous support, advice and encouragement.
• Provide individualized guidance based on each student's needs and aspirations.
• Maintain regular contact to track progress and address concerns.
• Work with academic institutions, faculty and other counselors to give accurate information.
• Keep detailed records of student interactions and admissions progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Previous experience in academic counseling, admissions or a related area preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field preferred.
