ACCA Qualified Accountant – UAE Tax Specialist

About the role

Vista Accounting & Tax Consultancy is seeking an ACCA‑qualified accountant with strong practical experience in UAE corporate and excise tax. The successful candidate will support a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations and providing strategic advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax and excise tax compliance for multiple clients.
• Prepare, review and file tax calculations, returns and related documentation.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services across various industries.
• Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority on client matters, including assessments and audits.
• Review accounting records for tax implications and support VAT compliance engagements.
• Prepare management reports and tax‑related documentation.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified (partial qualifications will not be considered).
• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting and taxation experience.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage client portfolios independently and communicate directly with business owners.
• Solid understanding of UAE regulatory and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• UAE corporate tax registration and return filing.
• Excise tax registration, compliance and return filing.
• VAT compliance and return preparation.
• Tax assessments, audits and FTA correspondence.
• Knowledge of UAE corporate tax law, excise tax regulations, VAT regulations and IFRS.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
