ACCA Qualified Accountant – UAE Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an ACCA‑qualified accountant to join our Dubai office as a UAE Tax Specialist. The successful candidate will handle corporate and excise tax compliance and provide advisory services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax registration, return filing and ongoing compliance for multiple clients.
• Handle excise tax registration, filing, assessments and correspondence with the Federal Tax Authority.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure accurate VAT compliance.
• Conduct tax planning, advisory and risk mitigation for UAE businesses.
• Liaise with the FTA on audits, assessments and other tax matters.
• Review accounting records and financial statements for tax implications.
• Produce management reports and tax‑related documentation.

Required profile

• ACCA qualification (fully qualified).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in UAE accounting and taxation.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Capable of managing client portfolios independently.
• Effective communication with business owners and senior management.

Required skills

• UAE Corporate Tax registration and return filing.
• Excise Tax compliance and filing.
• VAT compliance and return preparation.
• IFRS and UAE financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
