Account Director – Digital Natives (MENA)

About the role

OpenAI’s Go‑to‑Market team is looking for an Account Director to drive adoption of our AI platforms across the MENA region. You will own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to successful deployment, working closely with researchers, engineers and solution strategists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage approximately a dozen key accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans.
• Lead enterprise prospects from consideration to successful deployment, partnering with solutions and research engineering.
• Own consumption‑based revenue targets, forecast revenue and analyse account metrics to provide insights.
• Monitor industry landscape to inform product roadmap and corporate strategies.
• Collaborate across solutions, marketing, communications, operations, finance, product and engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years selling platform‑as‑a‑service or SaaS in the UAE with >$1M annual revenue targets for 3+ years.
• Proven experience designing and executing complex deal strategies and working directly with C‑level executives.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience leading high‑visibility customer events and gathering market intelligence.
