Account Executive - Regional Accounts

About the role

The Account Executive – Regional Accounts will drive new business and renewals across Autodesk’s portfolio in key accounts, meeting or exceeding financial targets through up‑selling, add‑on sales and cross‑selling. Reporting to a Territory Sales Leader, the role collaborates closely with Inside Sales, Partner Management and Field Sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute a business plan targeting customers and resources, aligning selling strategies with industry and technical knowledge.
• Identify Customer Business Initiatives, set strategies to help customers achieve desired outcomes, and own sales within designated accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key executives, present Autodesk solutions, and manage the sales forecast and opportunity pipeline.
• Collaborate with the Account Team on strategy alignment, participate in regular account calls, and stay current on market trends and new technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of proven experience exceeding sales quotas in the assigned territory.
• Experience selling software to the AECO industry is an advantage.
• Fluent English with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving ability and robust industry knowledge.
• Demonstrated success managing and growing a portfolio of mid‑market accounts.
• Executive‑level selling and relationship‑building experience.
