Account Manager – District Cooling (UAE)

About the role

Carrier is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead business development and strategic account management for its District Cooling vertical across the UAE. The role will drive growth by building relationships with district cooling providers, developers, consultants and EPC contractors, and by positioning Carrier’s high‑efficiency HVAC solutions from early project stages through tender and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market growth plan for district cooling in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates, maintaining a robust pipeline and accurate forecasts.
• Establish trusted relationships with major district cooling operators, developers and engineering consultants, influencing specifications and equipment selection.
• Lead pursuit strategies for strategic projects, coordinating technical, commercial and contractual support throughout the bid process.
• Promote Carrier’s portfolio—including centrifugal chillers, plant optimization, digital analytics and low‑GWP refrigerants—to showcase energy‑efficiency and lifecycle value.
• Represent Carrier at industry events, strengthening brand visibility and market influence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in HVAC, district cooling, utilities or related infrastructure sales, with a proven record of managing complex B2B opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, understanding of UAE construction and district‑cooling markets, and experience working with developers, consultants and EPC contractors.
