Account Manager – Mid Market

About the role

Coface is looking for an Account Manager to develop and retain key client relationships within its Mid Market portfolio in Dubai. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring profitability and delivering high‑quality customer service while adhering to underwriting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the Mid Market Marketing Action Plan, supporting initiatives that grow and saturate the portfolio.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and intermediaries, conduct meetings, presentations and respond promptly to queries.
• Act as the central contact for assigned accounts, delivering renewal revenue, coordinating with underwriting, risk and commercial teams, and promoting cross‑selling.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions and competitor activity to keep product knowledge current and support program expansion.
• Provide regular feedback to management on client needs and market opportunities, and represent Coface at external events.
• Collaborate with underwriters to ensure commercial underwriting practices align with risk policies.
• Share ownership of portfolio loss ratio with the Risk team, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of account management experience in the insurance industry, preferably credit insurance.
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex international client programs and drive profitable growth.

Required skills

• Contract management expertise, including renewals and full contract lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of credit insurance products and policy wording.
• Understanding of underwriting and risk management principles.
