Account Officer - Security Operations

About the role

The Account Officer – Security Operations will lead onsite staff deployment, ensuring teams are well‑groomed, trained and hold valid SIRA licences. You will act as the main client liaison, uphold Service Level Agreements and drive continuous improvement across security services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and supervise onsite staff, guaranteeing proper grooming, training and SIRA licence compliance.
• Maintain delivery of client Service Level Agreements and resolve operational anomalies identified during site inspections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, strengthening relationships and ensuring high retention rates.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Finance and HR to meet operational requirements for new and existing contracts.
• Oversee accurate and timely submission of attendance records, job charts and billing backup data to Finance.
• Monitor contract tenure, manage renewals and forecast manpower needs, including mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Conduct regular security surveys and annual site consultations to identify improvements.
• Lead the mobilisation process for physical guarding milestones and provide feedback until hand‑over.
• Identify potential leads, generate enquiries and support cross‑selling initiatives.
• Implement continuous training programmes, manage performance reviews and enforce disciplinary actions when required.
• Promote a diverse, non‑discriminatory work environment and ensure compliance with HSE regulations, emergency response plans and accident investigations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to identify potential clients and generate enquiries.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a client‑facing orientation.
• Capability to manage, motivate and develop a diverse security team while ensuring HSE compliance.
• Willingness to undertake any tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
