Accountant & Admin (Italian Speaker)

About the role

WellTax is seeking a versatile Accountant cum Admin who is fluent in Italian to support its Dubai office. The role combines accounting, tax compliance, client liaison and administrative duties while also assisting with marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Italian‑speaking clients on routine accounting and tax matters, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely responses.
• Perform general bookkeeping, prepare management accounts, year‑end financial statements and support audit processes.
• Assist with VAT, corporate tax and statutory account filings, maintaining compliance with UAE regulations.
• Maintain client accounting records, fee trackers and generate invoices for recurring services.
• Manage corporate services such as trade‑license renewals, visa applications, KYC files and PRO activities.
• Support marketing events, SEO initiatives and contribute to the firm’s AI strategy.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice or related administrative role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of UAE tax and business regulations is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Italian; Spanish knowledge is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the UAE.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
