Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Bin Saleh Travel LLC is seeking a bilingual Accountant with strong Arabic and English skills to manage the full‑cycle accounting of its travel agency operations in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on client receivables, GDS reconciliation, tax calculations, and portal invoicing for both government and corporate accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of receivables against Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and automated travel booking platforms.
• Calculate and track travel agent commissions, gross margins, and related financial metrics.
• Upload invoices to corporate and government portals while monitoring LPO status.
• Compute UAE VAT, Municipality Fees, and Tourism Taxes in compliance with local regulations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end ledger closings and prepare management financial reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on accounting experience within the UAE travel and tourism sector.
• Fluent written and verbal Arabic and English.
• Strong numerical accuracy and independent problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Proficiency with travel accounting software.
• Experience using corporate invoicing portals.
• Knowledge of tax calculation frameworks for UAE VAT, Municipality Fees, and Tourism Taxes.
