Accountant (ERP, Odoo, SAP, Tally, Zoho)

About the role

A full-time Accountant position in Al Ain, UAE, supporting daily accounting operations, administrative tasks and ERP-based financial workflows. The employer prefers candidates with hands-on experience in Odoo, and also values SAP, Tally and Zoho.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and journals
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and receipts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing
• Perform bank and supplier account reconciliations
• Support VAT documentation and compliance (UAE VAT knowledge preferred)
• Coordinate with management to improve ERP-based accounting processes
• Generate financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet and aging reports
• Maintain organized financial and administrative records
• Assist with procurement, inventory and basic HR coordination, and handle general office administration and reporting

Required profile

• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (highly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Preferred: UAE VAT knowledge, experience in trading, manufacturing or service industries, and Hindi and English

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (preferred); SAP, Tally and Zoho also preferred
• MS Excel and Office Suite
• Good organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask and work independently
