Accountant (Finance & Cash Management)

About the role

The Accountant will support the Group’s finance function by ensuring accurate processing of payable and receivable transactions, managing cash flow, and maintaining robust accounting controls. This position works closely with finance managers and the Group CFO to deliver timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly bank and broker account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordinate cash‑flow reporting across all Group companies and produce consolidated cash‑flow statements.
• Monitor loan repayments, calculate finance charges, and liaise with banks to avoid penalties.
• Maintain daily cash position, alert management of shortfalls, and arrange cash injections as needed.
• Assist in audit preparation, budgeting, and treasury tasks, ensuring compliance with IFRS and group policies.
• Process supplier payments, post receipts and debit notes, and report daily portfolio gains/losses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience in a group environment.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Understanding of financial consolidation and IFRS standards.
