Accountant – Finance & Reporting (Mid-Level)

About the role

The Accountant will safeguard and prepare financial reports, manage budgeting processes, and oversee transaction flows for a fast‑growing FinTech company based in Dubai. This mid‑level position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and safeguard financial records, budgets, and expense reports.
• Process and reconcile all accounting transactions, including payroll, operational costs, and bank deposits.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, budget forecasts, and cash‑flow analyses.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Audit financial documents, ensure compliance with KSA and UAE financial laws, and calculate applicable taxes.
• Manage Qashio’s balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and perform regular database backups.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in FinTech or financial services.
• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional financial regulations, including KSA laws.
• Fluency in spoken Arabic is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suites.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software.
