Financial Director - Middle East & Africa

About the role

The Regional Finance Director will be the senior financial leader for the Middle East & Africa region, overseeing all finance operations, governance and risk management while aligning with CHINT’s global policies. This role partners with regional business leaders to drive profitability, growth and sustainable expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional financial strategy in line with corporate objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Provide variance analysis, corrective actions and regular performance reporting.
• Oversee accounting functions ensuring IFRS compliance, consolidation and statutory filings.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital and banking relationships.
• Implement internal controls, risk management frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support investment decisions, M&A activities and market expansion with financial insights.
• Coordinate tax planning, VAT compliance and corporate taxation matters.

Required profile

• Senior finance leadership experience covering a multi‑country region.
• Proven track record in financial governance, strategic planning and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local financial regulations.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and KPI development.
