Accountant – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Accountant – Financial Planning & Analysis will support the finance team by preparing accurate accounting records, financial statements and cash‑flow projections. This role ensures compliance with the company’s accounting policies and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records and financial statements in accordance with company policies, procedures and timelines.
• Maintain ledgers, statements and accounting standards, and take appropriate actions to secure or make payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform initial checks, balances and verifications of computer input data to ensure completeness and accuracy before processing transactions.
• Allocate appropriate accounting codes or cost centres to transactions in line with accounting policy.
• Reconcile accounts periodically to guarantee accurate recording of all transactions.
• Prepare supplier payments by verifying invoice amounts against contracts and submitting documentation for approval.
• Ensure all allocations comply with the Chart of Accounts Manual.
• Prepare cash‑flow projections to support liquidity planning and meet financial requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum six years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional certifications as applicable.
