Accountant – Full-time in Sharjah

About the role

Green Prefab FZE is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and support the company’s financial operations in Sharjah, UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare and maintain VAT records and support VAT filing requirements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks and internal departments on financial matters.
• Provide management with accounting reports and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE accounting regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
