Accountant – Full‑time – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Dubai‑based law firm on a full‑time basis. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations and ensuring strict compliance with UAE regulations while supporting our legal and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and AR/AP tracking.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor cash flow, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and local financial laws, including accurate filing and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA, CPA or CMA is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and local tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and professional communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with accounting software.
• Expert use of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and financial analysis.
