Accountant – Full‑time position in Dubai

About the role

IMGS Group is looking for an Accountant to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The candidate will handle daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare and record invoices and payments.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Maintain proper financial records and documents.
• Assist with monthly financial reports.
• Assist with VAT and other accounting requirements.
• Check expenses and payment documents.
• Assist with budgeting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding financial matters.
• Support the Finance team with other accounting tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CMA qualification preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in trading, logistics, shipping or project‑based companies is an advantage.
