Accountant – Immediate Joiners Required

About the role

FounderX is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day financial operations in Dubai. The role requires immediate availability and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, record transactions, maintain ledgers and ensure accuracy.
• Handle Accounts Receivable – prepare invoices, track payments and follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Handle Accounts Payable – process supplier invoices, verify expenses and ensure timely vendor settlements.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss statements, expense reports and cash‑flow summaries.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of FTA compliance and UAE VAT filing.
• Fluent spoken English and ability to work independently.
• Immediate availability to join.

Required skills

• AR/AP management.
• Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Financial reporting and bookkeeping.
