Accountant

About the role

Thinkn is seeking an Accountant to join its growing finance team in Dubai. You will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support the company’s financial planning and reporting across multiple projects and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Produce management reports, forecasts and financial figures for leadership, board and investor reporting.
• Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, tracking actuals against forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, corporate tax requirements and VAT where applicable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow for effective financial management.
• Maintain compliance calendars, filings and reporting requirements across relevant regulatory authorities, including the FTA portal.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and corporate service providers.
• Implement and maintain financial controls, policies and procedures.
• Support invoicing, revenue tracking and financial administration across multiple projects and jurisdictions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction environment.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with leadership and external partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations, corporate tax and VAT.
• Proficiency in financial statement preparation and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage payroll, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience with compliance calendars and regulatory reporting.
