Accountant

About the role

The Finance department is seeking a diligent Accountant to support its core functions. You will be responsible for accurate recording, reporting, and control of financial transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare purchase and general journal vouchers, charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centres.
• Maintain and verify accounting ledgers, reconcile entries, and compare system reports to balances.
• Manage petty cash, prepare statements, and update letters of credit, loans, interest and margin summaries.
• Process wire transfers, payment vouchers and keep the Aging of Payables report up‑to‑date.
• Monitor supplier payments, credit notes and support monthly, quarterly and year‑end close activities.
• Assist with internal financial controls, audit preparation and coordination.
• Generate sales invoices, maintain sales registers, track receipts and manage accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and company accounts, handle daily receipts and monthly revenue reporting.
• Oversee fixed‑asset reporting, inventory analysis and ensure timely closing reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Financial, Microsoft AX, etc.).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting.
