Accountant

About the role

Ember Enablement Consulting is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, reporting, payroll coordination, and tax‑compliance support in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and record daily transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and payment follow‑ups.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and customer balances.
• Prepare payroll calculations and coordinate salary payments through WPS.
• Monitor company expenses, petty cash, cash flow and project costs.
• Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, filings and documentation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Coordinate with auditors and maintain complete financial documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Currently based in the UAE with immediate availability.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and time‑management skills.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and WPS processes.
• Practical experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
