Accountant

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Accountant to manage monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to work with various financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage GL accounting, accruals, prepayments and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee petty cash, vendor payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform financial analysis, reporting, data management and support ERP system improvements.
• Reconcile accounts payable/receivable, process bank payments, compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Audit financial transactions and produce reports on financial health and liquidity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
