Accountant – Manufacturing & VAT Specialist

About the role

Coveter Furniture Industry LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to support its manufacturing operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on job‑order costing, inventory accounting, AP/AR management, UAE VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage job‑order costing and allocate material, labour, and overhead costs.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billing, and perform account reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
• Maintain inventory accounting for raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods.
• Support UAE VAT filings and related compliance documentation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Preferably experience in furniture manufacturing, carpentry, or upholstery.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
