Accountant – Odoo ERP & UAE Tax Specialist

About the role

Pet Corner Trading LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai Investment Park. The successful candidate will oversee accounting activities across a group of companies while supporting the organization’s transition toward an AI‑powered finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities across multiple companies, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform e‑commerce reconciliations for websites, delivery platforms, and payment gateways.
• Utilize Claude AI to support reconciliations, journal entries, month‑end closing, reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and audit requirements.
• Work closely with operations and management to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Odoo ERP and group company accounting, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo modules (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase).
• Knowledge of e‑commerce reconciliation for websites, delivery applications, and payment gateways.
• Practical experience using Claude AI for finance‑related tasks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and audit support.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy.
